Pop up shop

Very excited to be offering fresh cornish flowers at a pop up shop at Eridge Park farm shop this Friday 27th January. The English cut flower season begins with lots of beautiful tulips, anemones, daffs and scented narcissi, all made up in to pretty little posies.

It's still a couple of months until our very own spring flowers will be ready for cutting so in the meantime we will be stocking lots of lovely cornish blooms.
Pop along and say Hi and see if I can tempt you with a touch of spring!

A touch of spring

It has been a busy start to the year with lots of wedding enquiries, which equals lots of quote writing and inspiration boards. So I thought I would start sharing the inspiration behind the weddings I have coming up this year.
First up this year will be an orange and ivory wedding, with a touch of spring.

Check out the website!

I realised that with the craziness of Christmas and then organising of the new year, that I seem to have forgotten to mention that my rather clever husband has created a website for me!
So if you have always come straight through to my blog for your flower fix then you can now have a look at the website too, if you have landed on my blog via the website then this is old news to you!
I still want to add more to it ( I use the word 'I' loosely, as I have not got my head round the other language that is html talk - so I will have to sweet talk my husband to add more pics at the mo) but in the meantime I'd love to know your thoughts.

Oh and you can also find me on twitter, and Facebook pop over and say hi and 'Like' my facebook page if you like! Think that's enough technology for one day.

So that was 2011...

I found myself getting slightly distracted whilst looking through photos for inspiration for 2012 brides. Nostalgia kicked in for what was a busy but exciting year, so I thought i'd share some of what went on in a quick round up of 2011.

It started with beautiful spring flowers for Mother's Day

Combined with the start of the homegrown flowers

Early summer brought us parties filled with peonies, dill and larkspur

Beautiful summer urns dressed marquees

June meant the beginning of the market season with plenty of homegrown flowers, sweet peas, cornflower, dill, scabious and nigella all in abundance mixed with scented herbs

The wedding season got in to full swing

Classic whites with a touch of yellow

The bridesmaids brightened up this rainy summers day and encouraged the sun to make an appearance for the reception

Excited to be able to produce completely homegrown beautiful wedding flowers
Eridge Park Farm Shop opened offering plenty of locally grown produce

Autumn introduced us to lots of lovely textures, berries and seedheads

Froufrou Bridal Boutique opened its doors to lots of lovely brides to be

Beautiful shop with a stunning selection of vintage inspired dresses

And then of course there was Christmas, what can I say, busier than ever with  lots of markets and orders.  And then a chance to put our feet up for a couple of days!

So a taster for what we got up to in 2011. 2012 looks to be an even more exciting year with ideas and projects in the pipeline and already lots of lovely couples booked in for their big day!

Happy New Year

It was a rather hectic lead up to Christmas so I was ready for a well earned break. Time out from flowers, emails, blogs and twitter, a chance to put my feet up with a good book, enjoy some delicious food and  quality time with family - bliss.

Refreshed, I now feel ready for a new year. 2012 is to be an exciting year as I am now fully self employed!!
All change and I can't wait!

Happy New Year to you all.
